Abstract:
The role of newspapers during the Friuli earthquakes is described and commented on with particular attention to the cooperation established with the regional scientific institutions. Thanks to this virtuous approach, people living in the epicentral area were properly informed about the evolution of the earthquake and the actions undertaken to reconstruct the devastated settlements.
