Abstract:
This paper describes the results obtained from a survey with Ground Probing Radar on the Eastern Hill of the Archaeological Park of Selinunte (Sicily, Italy). Two different test sites were surveyed: a northern area with probable Roman remains (40 x 40 area) and a southern one with probable Precolonial habitations (90 x 90 area). In the first area, the interpretation of the data collected shows good agreement with the results obtained from magnetic surveys. In the second, the results show the irregular surface shape of the upper part of a calcarenitic layer under the soil.
